PROIV Version 6.x and Operating System Runtime Libraries
PROIV Version 6 makes use of the C++ Standard Template Library (STL) in several of the new product components. The PROIV Virtual Machine has a dependency on these libraries being present in order to operate correctly. In most cases the libraries are installed by default with the base operating system. However, if they are not, the table below llists the versions of the STL used by PROIV in testing and where patches or runtime distributions may be obtained from.
