Following the launch of PROIV Version 7 in January 2011, PROIV customers are starting the process of upgrading to the new and improved product. Many customers are still using Version 6 and applications created with it but we would like to draw attention to the end-of-life date for this product version.
PROIV Version 6 will continue to be supported until 30th April 2012. At that point, normal support for all Version 6 products will cease.
As part of NorthgateArinso’s commitment to improved customer care, we have extended the end-of-life notification period from 12 to 15 months. This 15 month period commenced from the Version 7 go-live announcement on proiv.com and via emails to all customers in January 2011.
We encourage customers to upgrade to Version 7 well before the end-of-life deadline falls. To ensure a smooth transition from Version 6 to Version 7, you should contact your Account Manager in order to develop a migration plan to assist you in moving forward. The quicker you upgrade, the sooner you can take advantage of the new and improved features within PROIV Version 7 and remember there is no mandatory re-gen which makes the upgrade path very straightforward. Why not combine Version 7 with Aurora for a cost-effective way to integrate all of your PROIV-based applications and upgrade their look to a web-based functionality which will broaden the use of your application in a more user-friendly environment.
