PROIV Technical User Group 2008 a success!

“The Northgate staff showed a tremendous openness about the PROIV product and a willingness to respond to ideas which was most refreshing.”

Those are the words of Sertec's Development Manager, Tony White, who attended the recent Technical User Group, which was held in Austria.

The event was held in an informal atmosphere, in which delegates saw demonstrations of current PROIV development work and plans for future products. Delegates felt that they benefitted from having time to talk to each other and senior PROIV staff to discuss their own projects and what they had seen during the presentations.

Items presented included the exciting new PROIV Web Deployment facility, PROIV Multilingual, a new information dashboard and html reporting.

One delegate, Software Development Manager, Wim Soutendijk from Airtrade, said:
"It was very good to not only see the demos of work in progress or prototypes on future PROIV releases but also have the ability to talk to the designers about it in an informal way. This makes it possible for the team members to point PROIV in the direction we think they should go to. It makes it easier to have an extra feature added to PROIV while the development is half done than to request for changes after it has been released in an official product release."

The two days of meetings were preceeded by an enjoyable weekend of skiiing, walking and a highlight for non-skiers, a trip to a salt mine.
