PROIV Version 6 launches in Italy
During September, we took PROIV Version 6 to our Italian business partners, Computer House Prato, Pro-Sap and e-Technology Masters.
On 7 September, staff and key customers of Computer House Prato and Pro-Sap had a day learning all about PROIV Version 6, through a session very similar in format to those held in the US and the UK. A translator was on hand to interpret the presentation.
On 8 September, Computer House held a customer day at Villa Castelletti, an 18th century manor house in the beautiful Tuscan countryside outside Florence. About 115 people attended the event, which was in association with Oracle, Fujitsu Siemens and Northgate. PROIV Version 6 was presented and demonstrated during the morning session, followed by lunch and presentations by other companies throughout the afternoon.
At the end of the afternoon session, an impromptu extra demonstration was requested by many of the attendees who expressed great interest in PROIV Version 6. Some of Computer House's top customers attended for all or part of the day and in the evening, a gala dinner was held in the Winter Garden at the villa.
Later in September, our sales team returned to Italy for a series of presentions and demonstrations of Version 6 to staff and customers of e-Technology Masters based in Milan and managed by Marco Biancofiore. While there the team met with a numbe of customers including Pirelli (the rubber and tyre manufacturer), Elsag (the engineering company) and InterEuropa (a logistics company based in Koper, Slovenia).
We had the content of the Version 6 launch packs translated into Italian for the three events and there were interpreters present at both events on 7 and 8 September, providing an excellent English to Italian translation, as well as much-needed Italian to English translation for the PROIV team.
Feedback from all three events was very positive and in line with the great response to PROIV Version 6 we have received so far.
Our thanks go to all the staff involved at Computer House and Pro-Sap as well as e-Technology Masters for some extremely well organised events.
