PROIV Version 6 Licensing

PROIV Version 6, in addition to all the functional improvements, introduces a new Licensing system. The new model includes improved manageability, a streamlined installation process and most importantly covers all the PROIV Version 6 components. This is very good news for PROIV Version 6 Developers as with a PROIV license you now get all the components you’d expect as well as PROIV Active Web (Concerto) and PROIV Multilingual at no extra cost. Previously these components were separately licensed and chargeable.

In addition, with the new Client Session Manager feature, which provides a framework for multiple sessions to be run concurrently, up to ten sessions can be run with one license. Previously, each session would have used a license. Richard Gooding, PROIV Product Manager, said “We are confident that the PROIV Version 6 licensing system will be a big hit with our customers. It’s a tremendous leap forward in terms of what you get for your license. With a PROIV Development license you can now develop enormously powerful web applications in different languages.”
